If you are reading this, chances are you are already considering hiring a professional photographer for your Maternity shoot. Though you might need just a little more motivation to convince you to take that final step and book your session.
A lot of new mums to be, ponder with the question, is it is worth the money to hire a professional?
Well, that is entirely up to you.
So I have compiled a short list of reasons why you should.
You are beautiful... Even though you might not feel it at the moment, the pregnancy glow is real and it reflects in the pictures. That pride you feel towards your growing bump will shine through and when you get the pictures back from your photographer you will see what everyone has been telling you all along. You have never looked more beautiful...
You will miss that bump when it's gone... True, there is no greater joy than that of holding your newborn baby for the first time, but there will be times when you will put your hand on your belly and you will no longer feel that precious life moving and growing inside of you. And you will miss that feeling. That is when you will pull out those gorgeous pictures and reminisce...

Pregnancy is a beautiful & magical time for both you and your partner. The miracle of life has a way of bringing people closer together.
And a Maternity shoot is a fun way of spending some quality time together and commemorating those last few weeks of it just being the two of you... Well, that's saying if it is your first baby anyway...
4. You will love showing your child the pictures when he/she is a little older... Imagine sitting on the couch with your now toddler on your lap. You are are flicking through old family pictures and on every one you tell her who is in it... Suddenly she points to a picture from your Maternity shoot, little finger on your swollen belly and asks sweetly "who dat?"...
5. It is a good way of preparing older siblings for little Bub's arrival...

You can't put a price on memories, but some of us live on a budget and luxuries like getting proffesional portraits taken seem out of reach. But that is not completely true.
